To be honest with you, it seems you're still relatively low. I would play through the game a little bit more. It really comes down to if you have fun playing your character or not, it also has to deal with knowing how to play that character. As a N/Me you may run into a bit of Energy management. However, around level 10-12 you get some siphoning skills from the Mesmer trainers. I'm sure being able to draw both health (as a Necromancer) and energy as well as anti-caster spells (Mesmer) will make your character versitle against casters and several forms of melee. So don't give up just yet, but definitly unlock some more skills and play around with different combos. Good Luck!

N/Me can be a very powerful anti-warrior character. Necromancer curses like Faintheartedness and Enfeebling Blood can really shut down a warrior. Added to that, Mesmer skills like empathy add to the chaos. If played correctly, your character can own warriors. I would say keep on with it, play the game more and get more skills. If you want to go with the anti-warrior scheme, put points in Curses and Domination Magic.

If you want to pvp, Necro primary just isn't the optimal path to take.
